Yosua 1:8

1:8 This law scroll must not leave your lips! ¹  You must memorize it ²  day and night so you can carefully obey ³  all that is written in it. Then you will prosper ⁴  and be successful. ⁵ 

Yosua 2:16

2:16 She told them, “Head ⁶  to the hill country, so the ones chasing you don’t find you. ⁷  Hide from them there for three days, long enough for those chasing you ⁸  to return. Then you can be on your way.”

Yosua 9:11

9:11 Our leaders and all who live in our land told us, ‘Take provisions for your journey and go meet them. Tell them, “We are willing to be your subjects. ⁹  Make a treaty with us.”’
